United States – Helping Service-Disabled U.S. Veterans Find Jobs
Casals & Associates designed the national “Working Partners—Hire a Vet” marketing campaign for the the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Service (VR&E). The campaign provided VR&E employment specialists from around the country with promotional materials to use to expand awareness among potential employers of the many advantages of hiring service-disabled U.S. veterans.
The promotional materials included a calendar, carrying cases, pocket folders, business cards, interactive CDs with a video, mouse pads and stationery.
Casals & Associates’ other activities under the project included:
- Updating the VR&E’s website to better serve recruitment efforts
- Researching, writing, editing and designing a nationally distributed report, entitled Business and Clinical Journal 2002: The Disabled Veterans Working Partner for Rehabilitation Success
- Developing a Return on Investment (ROI) strategy for the VR&E and preparing an executive report on the role ROI could play in assessing VR&E’s performance and making informed decisions
In 2003, the campaign received an Eagle Marketing Award—an industry honor awarded for the year’s most outstanding marketing campaign.
