Okot Memorial College, a school for girls in Kitgum, northern Uganda, was featured in a success story posted on the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) website in October 2009. - A September 2009 success story posted on the USAID OTI website detailed a creative way USAID OTI mitigated environmental degradation in Pabbo, northern Uganda, while providing a source of income and food for farmers. The 10,000 orange, mango, lemon and jackfruit seedlings featured in the success story were funded through the USAID OTI project Casals & Associates manages. Read success story
